HELMET- SPIKED(KUGELHELM): ERSATZ M1915 1 Piece construction FELT PRUSSIAN ARTILLERY, M15 grey metal parts, all original in EXC unworn condition. Leather on CS is an old replacement but Kokardes are original, size is BIG (tag inside read 57 but it is bigger than that), about 7-3/8 - 7-1/2. Helmet shows storage age and a little surface scuffing only, only and needs blocked slightly (it was stored on its side). Markings inside rear brim, and I can make out a 1916 Depot date and I think it is "B.A.XV." marked. I do not think it was ever worn. These felt ones are hard to find now as they did not survive very well through the years. This one is basically untouched since WWI. If you want to make it an Infantry helmet for display or mannequin, simply change the spike.
