DRAG STRAPS- PAIR, hemp cloth strap 2-1/2" wide, dyed fieldgrey, MARKED but ILLEGIBLE (possibly GMH43) - possibly WWII MG or Mortar. Large snap type cast SCISSORS style clip(no donut around ring), cast sliding buckle to elongate loop, strap is sewn to swivel loop/snap at one end. These were found in a 30th Div. Vet lot of stuff, so they could be WWI but we have yet to find a photo of this. They used similar straps for pulling mortars (light minenwerfer), and flame thrower tanks on carts. They were definitely designed for pulling or carrying something heavy. Some have suggested litter bearer straps, but again, we do not know for sure.

FUZE- time, German bronze model 1916, 5-7 seconds, no wire loop, ORIGINAL(see our Delhomme reprint, page 18, bottom). Easy to fashion a wire loop. GOOD, dug, just need cleaned. A chance to put a fuze in one of the many kugel grenades available on the market. USA sales ONLY.
