HELMET- CAMO, British: We kept this one in the collection because if they ever did camo helmets, this was a likely candidate and the only one we ever owned as such. It is done in only brown and green (the only colors one would expect to see on a battlefield) and shows honest field use AFTER the paint was applied. Has liner and CS in GOOD-VG condition.

BAG- (CARRIER), Brodie HELMET: This is the bag in which British soldiers carried thier steel helmets while on the march. It is VERY rare and we have had ONLY one of these in 30 years. It is a half-moon shaped bag w/drawstring, made of unbleached linen, unmarked, in EXC+ condition. It came in a US WWI GI kit which we got in the 1980's. No doubt the GI stored his helmet in his duffel bag in this carrier to bring it home. 100% original and very rare.
