CANDLE STICK- heavy duty for table, made from large calibre shrapnel shell body(3-1/2" diameter) as follows: Actual base of shell w/copper driving band, the base of internal shrapnel "holder" with indents for shrapnel balls, 3 balls still in place for feet topped by cast pc w/5 pedals(my be part of the internal shell), then 2 brass time fuse parts on upper and lower ends w/brass center tube to make candle stem. Rather neat, stands 9-1/2" tall. EXC. I think this is Brit, but it could be a German shell base.
