MEDAL- "Croix de Guerre" w/ribbon and Bronze star, as worn by US troops if awarded in 1917 or 1918. Ribbon color ranges from lighter green to dark green - a maker variation and age(sunlight). Bronze star was for Brigade, Batln, or other equal mention(this was the lowest level of mention) in dispatches, all VG-EXC, some showing wear. French soldiers wore the actual medal w/ribbon on thier uniforms - whereas US and British soldiers wore "ribbon bars" only. ...(A) 14-17{1); ...(B) 14-18{4}.

ROUNDEL- GRAVE MARKER, LARGE 6-1/2" METAL ROUNDEL in FRENCH Patriotic TRI-COLORS, ribbed material, with museum tag that reads "Rosette - type used on French military graves/ Fort de Paris, Argonne, March. 1919", and it was no doubt taken from a grave after they were moved to National cemetaries. These wwere found on "field" graveyards when men were buried in the locale where they fell. VG, cut down to center hole for removal.
