Nice for display w/a WWI kit, tobaccao was very important to the soldiers in the trenches: ...(A) UNDATED but WWI style wrapper and markings as '14 dated we had in the collection -$14.50{3}; ...(B) ARMEE '43 DATED{7} or "ARMEE 1940" dated{2} WWII, -$9.50; ...(C) Bar-coded or unmarked (probably WWII vintage){6}, -$3.50, just in case you really want to try the stuff!{6}. The packages did not change much!

CONTAINER- CANDY, WARTIME, looks like a fat 37mm shell made from aluminum w/cardboard liner. On side is a PAPER tag w/ "1914-15-1916", and the case has a brass band at the bottom. These held sticks of candy for children and was intended as a patriotic container, possibly to raise funds for the war relief effort. EXC.
